The South Carolina Innocence Initiative will held its inaugural Innocence & Justice Conference on May 3, 2024 on the Wofford College campus in Spartanburg, SC. It focused on client advocacy in preventing wrongful conviction, strategies to investigate cases post-conviction, and a path forward to reimagine innocence efforts in South Carolina. This year’s conference theme was Charting the Course.
